To revise a detail of a community college job training business subsidy program. Under current law, a recipient of the subsidy must promise to pay workers 175 percent of the state “minimum wage.” The bill would change this to either 175 percent, or 150 percent but with health benefits. It would also earmark a portion of the diverted tax revenue to the Department of Treasury for administration of the program.
